Update…or tickets are booked

My flight itinerary sucks…. but it is (relatively) inexpensive

I leave from GYE very early in the morning (6 am) and get into Toronto very early the next morning (1 am).  This includes a 10 hour layover in Panama….   No I am not looking forward to this journey but it is what it is.  The 10 hour layover saves me about $250… so I look at it as $25 an hour… OK I can deal with that

I have a return booked for the middle of August but I am not sure if will use it then or change the date.

I have been riding an emotional roller coaster this week.

I have sent Buster (my dog) off to a farm to live.  I hope he has a good life there. I have applied to a job in Waterloo which would be perfect for me, but I am having doubts about my resume and how they will deal with it.  School is approaching the end, and there are doubts about being paid.  I have put my motorcycle up for sale ( I am going to miss riding the roads here) Add to that all the other things I have to do to get ready to move on and….. I am rather proud of myself for being able to keep it together.

The weather here has been wet..very wet.  It rains here, but the amount we have been getting recently is heavy even by local standards.  The Province has declared a emergency because a lot of roads and bridges have been washed away.   I have heard that this is part of the warming of the Pacific…. basically the normal wind patterns ( trade winds) have stopped. I don’t know if this is the reason but, I need to get someplace to dry out.
