I like riding the metro system in Tokyo… Smooth and quiet …. At least they used to be.
In order to cut down on power usage they are running the trains without air conditioning.
They are getting warm and muggy, especially on rainy days.
To cool off the trains people are opening the windows, which does provide a cooler breeze.
The problem is, the noise level is very high. I have seen people wearing earplugs, which is something I may do as well.
