But, in my mind, the package that Lightroom is, makes the drawbacks livable vs other software.
I have not upgraded to the latest version yet. I need a machine with more horsepower then I have to make it sing.
I used to spend most of my time in Media Pro, and then drop into photoshop to make proofs and selects for my clients ( and my own work)
Now I find I do the same, and more in lightroom.
I am finding that I am also doing less in photoshop then I used to. My images may look a little less polished, but they feel “realer” to me.
When I look back on some of my more photoshopped images I ask myself if I was just “polishing a turd”… a stinker of an image still stinks, not matter how much photoshop you do it it.
These images are just corrected in lightroom, no photoshop…
