I have had to travel on the Queen street car a few times recently. I have also been playing around with my Lens Baby ( a really interesting lens… optically it is so bad it is good)
I started shooting from the moving Street Car with the lens, and got some interesting results…. you can see some of them here. This includes images not taken form the street car, but just walking around. ( BTW please rate these images, I am thinking of using some of them in an art exhibit and I like to know what people like and don’t like)
The neat thing about this experiment is how tough it was.
The Lens Baby has a very small sweet spot. I was looking through the lens so I could not see what was coming.
This gave me very little time to wait until the “subject” came into view ( blurry) decide if I wanted to shoot it… press the shutter when they were in the sweet spot, and then the image was gone.
it was all about timing and reaction time.
Here are some of the shots.
