I like big lights!
My favour light sorce is the elinchrome Octobank. This 74 inch monster gives out amazing light.
Transporting it ( and the lights to power it) is not somthing I want to do.
So how to come close with speedlights…espically while on location?
I have been thinking about sheets of fabric… umbrellas with scrims in front… I even mentally desgned a system with umbrellas, reflectors, and scrims all attached to one light stand ( the first breeze and I would have an amazing kite 
).
Being lazy, and a firm believer in the KISS principal (Keep It Simple Stupid) I am going to practice with a shoot through umbrella and a reflector, and see if I can achieve the results that I will be happy with. It won’t be the Octo but it may do the trick.
