Opportunity

Sitting in a cafe in Shibuya

I saw a Internet article criticizing someone about talking about the opportunities in japan after the disaster.

This country will rebuild… Maybe even stronger and better then it is now.

Is this the event that is going to shake it out of it’s doldrums? I don’t know enough about the mind set of the public, but I would not be surprised.

One of the reasons given for the yen’s rise (not fall as expected) was the thought that Japanese companies will be repatriating funds in order to pay for their rebuild.
The major companies ( which, from my limited knowledge, actually run the country) are going to rebuild…

They have a need to help everyone as well as themselves…. Unlike some north americian companies… Who only want to help themselves.

So opportunities exist… Energy management will be a big thing…this could help the whole world as I see Japan getting behind all sorts of energy conservation and alternate energy technologies.

From a personal point of view, I see a demand for English teachers. A lot have left the country, more will not want to come. And English is becoming more in demand as the companies realize they need to export more to thrive…. Exports mean knowing Chinese or English. – Posted using BlogPress from my iPad
