20:21 Still thinking about my move.
One of my points is weather… ie heat and humidity. I don’t know if I could survive in constant hot. It is one thing for a few days but for 6 months or longer. I know I am a cool weather sleeper.
With this in mind, cities in the Andes might be a better idea. I hadn’t thought much about Quito but I should not rule it out at this point in the deliberations.
I have had a few replies to emails… Nothing definite but several are encouraging

8:55 I have been fighting a cold, and it has moved into my nose. Not great for a Monday. I spent most of the weekend sleeping and reading. I did go out and shoot the parade saturday morning, but that was it for my outside activities.
I have been checking the calendars for days off…. There are a lot of them in Dec. I have 4 or 5 days between cycles that I might use to travel and hand out resumes.
This will limit the distance that I can go, but it may be worth it. This will give me an opportunity to visit places on the coast near Gye. I can also check out the city to figure out if I would be comfortable there.

20:04 I have been giving more thought to my next move. The decision will be based on many factors, but cost and work will be very important.
I have heard that I can make 2-3 times the amount I make now in larger centers. But I am not sure about the cost of living…. And then there is the standard of living.
What I hear about GYE is that it is a dangerous city… But if I believed all I read about Toronto I would think the same. Even if it isn’t crime riddled it is still a large city in Ecuador… Which means bad air quality, and…. Well I just don’t know. Maybe I have to go to find out.
Going to Peru is an interesting option… Close… But I would have to start over with the visa etc.
Uruguay is really interesting, and I would see another side of south America… But the costs to relocate there are a little more than I might be able to swing. Peru and Ecuador are ( long) bus rides but Uruguay means flying.
I have sent out CVs to places in several countries but I have not had much in the way of replies.

9:44 Thinking about my photography. I like looking at amazing landscapes, I like experiencing amazing sites, but my images give me a blahhhhhh feeling.
They are ok images, but not what I want to be me…. Not the images that best express my eye, my view of the world.
I think I am more a people photographer… Be it street photography, portrait or pretty girl, it is humans that hold my interest the most.
I am not going to pass on nature and landscapes, but my next move should be someplace where I can get back to what I enjoy the most.

This does not mean that people are not existent in loja… It just means the everyday routine has started to cover my eyes as to what is there. Maybe this is the trap I have fallen into and I have to break out of.
