I love photography.
I love the joy in composing an image.
The excitement of capturing a fleeting moment in time can be exhilarating.
I get great joy in seeing images, both mine and others.
But I don’t care about cameras!!
Being a photographer I am struggling to pay rent sometimes.
A friend suggested I try and get a job at a camera store.
I could not think of a worse hell for me to be in!
I can and do spend hours talking about photography, but I don’t care about sensor size or megapixel or which body Nikon has is better in low light.
When people start talking about tech spec my eyes glaze over.
Don’t get me wrong, I know what my equipment can do, I know it’s strengths and weaknesses and how to take advantage or work around it’s disadvantage. This is a major part of being a photographer, knowing your tools.
But I don’t know or care what the latest and greastest body will do, cause I can’t afford it or even if I could I likely wouldn’t buy it anyway.
It might get in the way of my photography. – Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone
