It is strange the things that trigger the realization how far away I am.
I took a taxi home from school, as normal. I get them to drop me at the top of the hill, since it is easier for me to walk down, then it is for them to drive.
I looked up into the sky….and above me there were no clouds ( rare at night…at least the nights I checked). Right above my head was Orion… And the stars shone brightly in his belt, and I could see his sword.
The problem is he is in the wrong place!
All my life Orion has been just above the horizon in the southern sky, but there he was right overhead. I started searching what I could see of the sky ( there were lots of clouds on the horizon, and the mountains block the view as well) looking for old friends, and I could find a few, but not many.
