It is 1am on Tuesday morning.
My bags are packed ( one is 1.5 lbs overweight )
My clothes are laid out.
I went to bed 6 hours ago, and my alarm is set to go in less then an hour.
Airways transit will be picking me up at 3:30 for a 7:59 flight to Houston.
For me, the most stressful part of traveling is them customs lines, and security checks. The security checks are the worse. I don’t like pulling all my stuff out, putting it on the belt,and then being separated from it.
Usually my camera gear gets hand checked, which shows everyone what I am carrying
. Once I am passed that point I start to relax, and slip into bored traveller mode. I like to be bored…no excitement…nothing new…just read and sleep until I get to where I am going. I am happiest when I can say I had a boring flight. I hope that happens today –
