I hate traveling!
I like being in new places but the getting there sucks
It isn’t just the headache and physical part of getting there, it is the emotional part of packing up and saying so long.
This stay in Toronto has been amazing. I connected with old friends, made new friends, and accomplished a lot.
I wish I was going back to Tokyo, where I know the layout and have friends.
Instead I am going to a place I have never been before, with a culture I do not know. It is exciting, but it is also frightening as well.
There are a few hic-ups in the final planning packing stages, the biggest one being the failing of one of my cameras. My pocket camera (g9) has stopped functioning. This is my shirt pocket camera, and I am not sure what I am going to do. I have a couple of days to figure it out. …. Not enough time to get it functioning.
