It is interesting watching the Canadian election from the outside.
I do have a bias… I think the Harper regime is the worst thing to happen to Canada politics in the last 50 year… At least
Other events put this in perspective. There was another aftershock the morning I wrote this… 5+ on the Japanese scale…. 3 in Tokyo on the same scale ( maybe 4 on the ricter scale?)
Up until this point the morning had been fun with my house mates, but when we found out the details… One of the ladies mother lives right where the quake was… Of course cell and txt services were overloaded… So it was 20 minutes or so until she found out all was ok..
So as bad as we can think about the remaking of Canada into harperland there are worse things to contemplate.
