I have been asked by several people, “why not come home?”<\/p>\n

Let’s look at the reasons to come home. <\/p>\n

Nuke issues:<\/span> <\/p>\n

This is a big one. Instead of trusting the news media I did what I normally do in situations like this.
I researched the subject. I read different views on what could happen and where I should be.( yes Mom I was being my normal self( my Mom expressed frustration with how in depth I sometimes go. When I started baking bread I dived into the chemistry of the process instead of just reling on cook books))<\/p>\n

I feel Tokyo is safe! <\/p>\n

Earthquake:<\/span>
They happen. They have happened. They will happen. They can not be predicted. Tokyo has an acceptable risk. <\/p>\n

Economic<\/span>:
This is a big one. I can’t afford to leave and return. I am not sure if I can make a go of it here, but I have to try.
I have ads running in a couple of publications to try and find photography students.. Wish me luck <\/p>\n

Family:<\/span>
This is the toughest. I know how much this is worrying my family. I wish there was a way to take it away, but worry they do.
This is also a tough time because a cousin is in intensive care from a hockey incident. <\/p>\n

I know I am safe. I am using caution and trying to make smart choices, but all the home front sees is what the TV shows them. <\/p>\n

And seeing what they see, breaks my heart. <\/p>\n

But that is not where I am. That is not what I am experiencing. <\/p>\n

Anyway, I am staying, for now. If I feel the situation warrants it, I will be on my way out. – Posted using BlogPress from my iPad<\/p>\n
