It has been an interesting morning, technically.
I have two interesting problems with my updates to this site.
1) CHATgpt seems to have lost it’s memory and isn’t loading past conversations, which includes the prompts to create the news briefs. I had scheduled to run it as a task every morning.
When I asked it why it hadn’t run the task, it said it didn’t have that capability. When I mentioned that it had done it in the past, it said. I might not have understood what it said.
I have to remember that writing prompts and having conversations is like talking to a 2 year old that has an amazing vocabulary, but doesn’t know the difference between fact a fiction. It has been interesting.
2) I have set up a page level translator to adjust all of my Spanish feeds into English.
The problem is, it is also translating all of my English posts, including this one, into its version of English. This means that what you read is not what I wrote. I need to explore that a little more to find out how I can stop it from doing that.
As an example of this…. further up in this post I wrote ” not have understood what it said”, but the translator changes that to “have understood what he said. “
But now… time for Breakfast.
Addtion
I might have solved problem 2… after breakfast. I asked CHATgpt about it and it suggested adding a shortcode just on the pages I wanted the translator to work, and remove it form the overall site.
