How to load into Google Calendar
A) National holidays (fastest: subscribe)
Primicias includes a direct “Add holidays calendar to Google Calendar” link.
- Open the Primicias holiday calendar article. (Primicias)
- Click the line that says “AGREGAR CALENDARIO DE FERIADOS A GOOGLE CALENDAR…” (Primicias)
- When Google Calendar opens, click “Add / Agregar”.
B) Manabí / Cuenca / Loja (best: create your own local calendar)
Google won’t auto-subscribe to local civic days reliably, so:
- In Google Calendar → Settings → Add calendar → Create new calendar
- Name it: Ecuador – Local (Manabí / Cuenca / Loja)
- Add the local dates above as all-day events
- Add a note in each event like: “Observed day may shift under holiday law.”
