I have grown an ablity to tune out hype…. or dislike it.
I am already getting tired of the Vancouver Games Hype and was thinking about doing a complete tune-out.
Then I thought, shortly after the games I will be travelling to the land of hype ( so I understand). I will be coming from a country that will have been featured in their media for weeks…. I need to follow these games, espicially how the Japanese team does.
I am not a fan of branded stuff, but I think I will pick up an official hat or something to wear. Maybe grab things like pins ( which I usually refuse)… they may make good “icebreaker” gifts.
I will be taking donations of any small ( packable… pins that kind of thing) olympic swag that anybody wants to donate.
