11:30 Today I got a cardio workout… All over $5
I went to to local immigration police office to get I form I need to renew my visa. The cost is $5
The office is on top of a hill…a very steep hill
I gave the officer a $20 bill…. But like most people in this city, he didn’t have change.
I had to walk down the hill to try and find change. I ended going back to my Casa where I knew I had a $5 bill that I had put aside as part of my rent.
Back up the hill to finish my transaction.
Next step of the process, find a colour photocopier.

12:47 Today is a holiday in Canada , but not here.
The weather in Loja feels like a fall day… Sometimes sunny sometimes cloudy but always that bit of coolness.
This was ok when the temp in Canada was below zero, but my body expects some heat I think. The time in Montanita was just a teaser.
There are a lot of things I like about Loja, but I see an extended period on the coast in my future.

21:36 I found out on Friday that one of my classes is cancelled….not enough students…this is the summer break
I looked at my budget, and I will make enough to do OK. I had planned on a few excursions, but we will have to see how much I can save.
Spent most of the weekend watching movies and doing some research on some business ideas. Will have to see if any of them might work.
Tomorrow is the beginning of a new cycle… New students, same course
