One of my favourite films of all time is Walking by the NFB ( which I watched on my flight out in the spring)
I don’t know If that triggered my interset in watching people walk or not, but I enjoy sitting and observing.
I noticed several things about Japanese ladies ( I prefer watching ladies…just the way my brain is wired)
It is a such joy to watch a well put together women in heels sway down the street.
A lot of women don’t know how to walk in heels and they lack the swaying.
One of the things I noticed was the number of ladies who walked pigeon toed.
Talking this observation over with a friend , he mention that the way Japanese sit streaches a series of muscles or tendons over time.
This causes the bow In the legs. He also mentioned that he was told by a track coach that this is why Japan does not do well in track.
I don’t know if it is true or not, but haveing kneeled in the “proper” position for a few minutes…I can believe something is being done to my legs.
