I now have 19 days before I get onto the plane.
I think I have everything under control.
I had a talk yesterday with Allan who went to Japan for a 1 year teaching contract…and stayed for 8 years.
It is great getting insights into how others approached and dealt with different details.
One of the constants I have heard is to bring socks with no holes… you take your shoes off often. I have new socks ( thanks Mom) so that is covered.
